Dearborn Web Design
Company

In todays continuously evolving marketplace, most businesses
both big and small realize the need for a high-quality, eye-catching
website to attract potential customers. In addition, e-commerce is becoming
more common, but few people know how to incorporate it into their site.
Enter Kim Ross, 22, and Marc Liljegren,
25.
This duo, both Dearborn High School graduates,
started their Web-design company Intuitive Business Solutions
(IBS) in 1996, and in the ensuing years, have amassed over two
dozen clients.
Some of their clients include: Spencers
Indoor Grille (www.SpencersIndoorGrille.com), George Darany Remax Team
2000 (www.Dearborn-Homes.com), Impressions Specialty Advertising (www.IBSoultion.com/Impressions)
and Bike Sport Michigan (www.BikeSportMichigan.com).
They have also designed a few official
city and non-profit sites, including the city of Dearborn Homepage (www.CityOfDearborn.org),
Dearborn Heights Online homepage (www.DHOL.org), Redford Townships
website (www.RedfordMI.com) and Kiwanis of Dearborn Outer Drive (www.IBSolution.com/Kiwanis).
The rapid growth of IBS forced Ross and
Liljegren to move from their cramped Garrison Street location two years
ago into their current location at 1110 N. Telegraph, between Cherry
Hill and Ford Road.
The rapid growth also meant Ross and Liljegren
had to hire some help.
"We now have two part-time employees
and seven contractual employees," said Ross.
But much of the work is still done directly
by Ross and Liljegren.
"Marc does all of the work with the
servers, and I do most of the customer service and graphic design work,"
Ross continued.
The IBS story did not happen overnight,
though. In fact, it almost didnt happen at all.
"We hadnt planned on doing this,"
said Liljegren. "It kind of happened by accident.
"We came across our first customer
when the both of us were working together, and I was approached by James
(Hunter) to do a website for (his company, JD Hunter Associates).
"After that we began to see that there
was a need for businesses to get online."
The two went from business to business
locally, asking owners if they were interested in having them design
their website.
"Eventually, it just became word-of-mouth
for us," said Ross.
Now, for the new year, Ross and Liljegren
say they have a number of projects in the works.
"By the end of January, well
have a redesigned Dearborn Heights site up and running," said Ross.
"And by the end of February well have the redesigned Dearborn
site up."
