BARC’s annual BI Survey is the world’s largest survey of business intelligence and analytics users. In 2019, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) took first place in 17 categories and was ranked in the top group in 29 other KPIs. The top rankings cover all peer groups to which SAP Analytics Coud was assigned in the survey: large international BI vendors, integrated performance management products, data discovery-focused products, and dashboarding-focused products.
97% referral rate
97% of users would recommend SAP Analytics Cloud. 91% rated SAC’s dashboarding functionality as excellent or good. By comparison, all BI tools examined achieve an average score of 80%. In addition, 88% of respondents rated SAP’s ability to understand business needs as very good or good. 55% of users chose SAC because of SAP’s high level of innovation.

In the peer group of large international BI vendors, SAP Analytics Cloud is at the top of the list of key performance indicators that include innovation, cloud BI, mobile BI, and project length. The study also ranked SAC among the best products on the market in the areas of business value, customer satisfaction, innovation and competitiveness, as well as in functional categories such as dashboards.

In total, the BI Survey 19 ranked SAP Analytics Cloud as one of the world’s leading business intelligence and analytics solutions, based on strong ratings in numerous key KPIs.

Renowned study by BARC
The BI Survey 19 was conducted from March to June 2019 by BARC (Business Application Research Center), a research and consulting institute for enterprise software. As part of the renowned study, 3,021 participants worldwide answered a questionnaire on their business intelligence software. The study includes current data on market developments as well as detailed analyses and comparisons of the 36 leading BI tools from 31 different providers. 34 performance indicators, such as business value, customer satisfaction and competitiveness, are included in the evaluation.
