IBsolution once again among the most attractive employers in the SME sector

The Heilbronn-based management, IT and SAP consultancy IBsolution is once again one of the best employers in Germany. IBsolution was awarded by the Center for Employer Attractiveness (zeag GmbH) on the basis of a scientifically based employee and management survey. Every year, zeag GmbH selects the most attractive employers among German medium-sized companies. The “Top Job” seal 2023 is awarded by former Vice Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel as patron of the project. “Being an employer of choice is an important strategic decision if companies want to be successful in the long term,” emphasizes Sigmar Gabriel. Among other things, IBsolution impressed with particularly good employee feedback in the area of family orientation and demographics.

In its fourth participation in “Top Job,” the company was once again named one of the most attractive employers in Germany.

The Heilbronn-based company scores points not only for its deliberately cultivated communication culture and flat hierarchies, but also for its closeness to its employees. Programs such as Job Rad, joint leisure and sports activities, and employee events contribute to a work-life balance that cannot be taken for granted in the consulting industry. In order to balance family and career, individual part-time models are valued just as much as working from a home office, which was already possible at IBsolution before the Corona pandemic. Another special feature is that employees of all ages are hired, so that even people of retirement age can still perform fulfilling tasks. At the other end of the age pyramid, however, the youngest are also considered: New parents are delighted with the IBsolution baby package for the birth of their offspring.

“Valuable orientation as to where we stand”

In IBsolution’s 20-year history, satisfied and motivated employees have always been a key factor for exceptional growth. “In the coming years, we will more than double the number of our employees. To achieve this, we need to position ourselves as an attractive employer. The ‘Top Job’ survey gives us valuable orientation as to where we stand in this regard and in which areas we can improve even more,” emphasizes Oliver Donner, Managing Director of IBsolution. For this reason, the employee survey as part of “Top Job” has become an integral part of the corporate culture.

Employee feedback makes sense in times of crisis

Conducting employee surveys even in difficult times is a concern for the “Top Job” team. “Our studies show that even – and especially – in times of crisis, good employers should know how the working atmosphere is in their company,” reports Prof. Dr. Heike Bruch, head of the Institute for Leadership and Human Resource Management at the University of St. Gallen. “After all, qualified feedback from employees is the basis for a strong, crisis-resilient corporate culture.” The award-winning companies may now carry the “Top Job” seal for the next two years.

The “Top Job” employer program

With “Top Job”, medium-sized companies work on their qualities as employers. The seal makes their attractiveness visible to applicants. The basis for the award is an extensive employee and management survey. It is organized by zeag GmbH, Center for Employer Attractiveness, based in Constance on Lake Constance. The scientific management of the benchmarking is in the hands of Prof. Dr. Heike Bruch and her team from the Institute for Leadership and Human Resource Management at the University of St. Gallen. The patron of the project is Sigmar Gabriel.
